Privacy policy

TradeMark Africa (TMA) is the data controller for personal data collected through the ATDF 2026 microsite. This notice explains what we collect and how we protect it.

What we collect

Registration and accreditation details (name, email, organisation, role, country), and, for approved delegates, travel and passport information required for visa and badge processing.

How we protect it

Registration data is stored securely. Passport and visa documents are encrypted and are only ever served over short-lived, access-logged links. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the event and delete it on a defined schedule afterwards.

Sharing

Approved delegate data is shared with our event delivery partner solely to deliver visa letters, badges, logistics and event communications, under a data processing agreement.

Your rights and compliance

We comply with Ethiopian data protection law, the Kenya Data Protection Act and, for EU delegates, the GDPR. To exercise your rights or ask a question, contact the TMA Communications team.
